I have over 50 years caring for animals. Never a day went by without cats or kittens, or dogs and puppies under foot. I had my hands full with 5 giant breed dogs. I understand your pet being away from you for any length of time will be extremely stressful for them, and that stress requires patience and kindness. I'm a pet-ter, a hugger, a brusher. Long walks are perfect to help keep your furbabies out of the blues. Walking in the park is beautiful, or up in the mountains to play in the lake. Or right here at home. I live on 5 acres with plenty of doggy things to do. Or...just sitting on the sofa, our paws up, watching movies together. Just relaxing.
I am a member of NVADG (North Valley Animal Disaster Group). We are First Responders through the Butte County Sheriff Department Disaster Services. I am trained in Animal First Aid, Injections, and CPR. I take pride in my abilities to care for animals no matter the situation.
